The Balanced Nucleation and Growth (BNG) Model
These Abstracts show the author’s extended work and publications in crystallization science. The derivation of the equations is available from the publications and the book (see side-bar).
Experimental examples were obtained during the development of silver halide based products for photographic films for Eastman Kodak Company. Since leaving this company, the concepts, which are based on fundamental science, were successfully applied to a great variety of crystallization processes of organic and inorganic materials. Since the information is spread over a wide range of (peer reviewed) journals and the book these abstracts provide a preliminary insight in specific topics.
